Second visit

At your next visit the Chiropractor will have carefully reviewed all the information in your case. The cause of your problem and how to fix it, will be explained in detail in a verbal report of findings. This visit is completed shortly after your first visit. Chiropractic care usually involves a course of care, this will be discussed.

An individualised, tailored plan of management will be discussed. With your consent, if safe to do so, your chiropractic adjustments will begin. Your chiropractor will use their experience and knowledge to decide which technique is going to be most safe and beneficial for you.

Duration varies.

Standard appointment

Your chiropractor will skillfully adjust you as necessary. Advice and homework will also be given. Please follow recommendations to get the most out of your care. Chiropractic adjustments are specific, direct and tailored to your particular clinical needs. We aim to be effective and efficient allowing you to get on with the rest of your day.

Phases of Care

Phase 1: Pain Reduction: The first step is pain relief. The aim is to reduce the majority of the discomfort using various Chiropractic and manual therapy techniques.

Phase 2: Correction and Functional Rehabilitation:
Improve joint integrity and function, the underlying cause of the problem is addressed with an emphasis on increasing stability and the function of the area.

Phase 3: Maintenance care: Helps prevent the return of your condition and helps you deal with the stressful demands you place on your body whether it is through your work, exercise or lifestyle in general.

Please note: The 2nd visit - verbal report of findings given after the initial consultation must be completed within 2 months of the initial consultation. After this, the time period has been too long and you will need to be reexamined. Usually the 2nd visit is completed shortly after the initial consultation.
