We have digital x-ray facilities onsite. These use newer technology, digital radiography (DR) x-ray facilities for our patients (as compared to the older technology using cassettes - CR). This may assist in the assessment of underlying causes of your condition when needed. For the most part, chiropractors rely on clinical examination, specific tests and palpation skills to diagnose the cause of your symptoms. However, in some cases, x-ray imaging may be clinically indicated.
X-ray imaging may be used, when appropriate, to assess certain conditions, including but not limited to:
Trauma or injury – where there is suspicion of a fracture, dislocation, or structural damage, particularly where this may affect the safety or suitability of care.
Degenerative or structural changes – such as osteoarthritis, age-related changes, or features that may be associated with certain inflammatory conditions, where imaging may provide additional clinical context in selected cases.
Suspected underlying pathology - where clinically appropriate, imaging may assist in identifying signs that require further medical investigation or referral.
£90 per region (either neck, middle back or lower back)
(We are also able to offer extremity images for hips, shoulders, knees etc.)
